Why does the problem of insects increase during rains?
During monsoon, the moisture and temperature in the environment becomes favorable for the breeding of insects. Especially fruit fly lays eggs on ripe or half ripe guava. Within a few days, the larvae emerge from the eggs and start eating the pulp inside the fruit. This is the reason why the problem of insect infestation in guava is most common during the rainy season.
