The links of this entire case are related to human trafficking, taking advantage of compulsion and a disgusting secret syndicate, which as soon as it was exposed, even the American investigating agencies were shocked.
Theft report and the horrifying truth of ‘hotel room’
This heartbreaking case began in January 2025. On January 6, 2025, Omaha Police received a complaint of petty theft. But when the police team reached ‘AmericInn’ hotel to investigate the matter, the officers were shocked to see the scene there. There was no ordinary theft, but a dreadful network of trafficking and sex trafficking of minor girls was going on behind the scenes.

International syndicate busted: Now Kavankumar will be directly deported to India
United States Attorney Leslie Woods said in a statement on the successful rescue operation, “The Homeland Security Task Force has safely rescued these innocent children from a living nightmare.” Not only Kavankumar, but two other Indian-origin employees of the hotel – Sumit Chaudhary and Vishal Goswami – are also under investigation in this case and serious legal charges have been framed against them.
Additionally, the main smugglers—Eduardo José Perdomo, Michel Martínez-González and Alfredo Zambrana-Hurtado—have also been arrested. The investigation also revealed that the main accused Kavankumar Patel was living illegally in America without any valid documents. The American court has made it clear that as soon as he completes his 10-year sentence in jail, he will be immediately deported from America and sent directly back to India.
