Actress Ayesha Khan, who came into limelight overnight with Dhurandhar’s popular song ‘Shararat’, has shared a video on social media, which has sparked a new debate on the internet. The actress claimed that Mumbai Police detained her and her two female friends just for standing on the road. After this incident, Ayesha has raised questions on the police action by sharing many videos and posts.
Video shared from police van
While sharing the video from inside the police van on her Instagram story, Ayesha Khan said that her hands were trembling and she could not understand why she was detained. In the video, Ayesha is seen saying, ‘I was just standing peacefully on the road. I neither started any demonstration nor raised any slogans. My brother and some male friends were detained, so I was standing there with my two female friends. Despite this, we were also caught by the police.

Four women policemen caught them and made them sit in the van.
In another post, Ayesha claimed that it took four female policemen to bring her to the police van. He wrote raising questions as to on what basis he was detained. Ayesha wrote, ‘Did I make noise? Did I argue with anyone? I was not even part of the group of five. Then why was I detained?’
In another video, Ayesha is seen asking the officer present in the police van where she is being taken. When no answer is received, she says, ‘How do you guys get a peaceful sleep at night, after doing all this?’ Later he also shared a detailed video from Worli Police Station and explained the entire incident in detail. Ayesha says that she had definitely come to participate in the protest, but she was taken into custody before she could start any kind of conversation or protest.

After Ayesha Khan’s video surfaced, different reactions are being seen on social media regarding this incident. Many users have come out in support of the actress and are raising questions on the police action, while some people say that a conclusion should be reached only after the official information about the entire case is revealed.
