The report claims that only a ‘one-liner’ of the film was shared with Deepika and she didn’t receive a full narration of the film. The source further claimed that Deepika does not commit to a project without hearing the complete story. Which is why Spirit was never a part of her plans.

Pranay further alleged that the team had spent more than a year discussing the film’s story and Padukone’s character with her.
