Day 5: Akhil’s Lenin Holds Firm at the Box Office

Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin has entered an important phase of its theatrical run. Like most films, the action drama witnessed a drop in collections on weekdays, but its overall performance remains healthy.

Backed by positive audience response and strong occupancy in several Telugu markets, the film is steadily moving towards another box office milestone.

On Day 5, Lenin collected an estimated Rs 3 crore net in India from 2,147 shows. This marked a 16.7 per cent drop from its Day 4 net collection of Rs 3.60 crore.

With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 32.05 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 36.79 crore.

Overseas, Lenin earned around Rs 50 lakh on Day 5, taking its total international gross to Rs 8.30 crore.

The film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 45.09 crore.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin blends action with emotion. Akhil Akkineni’s performance has received appreciation, while Bhagyashri Borse has also been praised for her role.

The supporting cast, including Ramki, Sivaji, Sunil, Brahmaji and Easwari Rao, adds further strength to the film.
