CM Mohan Yadav Samuhik Marriage Conference: In the mass marriage conference in Kota, Rajasthan, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that daughters are the incarnation of God and through them two families join. He also gave the message of simple marriage and Simhastha Mahakumbh.
Marriage is not only a union of two people but is also considered a sacrament of union of two families. In Indian tradition, marriage is not just seen as a social system but as a sacred sacrament. Reiterating this sentiment, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave an emotional and inspiring message on the importance of daughters in the mass marriage conference organized in Kota, Rajasthan.
He said, “Daughters are the incarnation of God. Through them, two families join each other. Through the marriage ceremony, daughters get a new home, new parents and a new family.” The Chief Minister was addressing the free mass marriage conference organized in village Rinchi of Kota on 26 April. This event was organized under the aegis of Mulki Panchayat Yaduvanshi Ahiran and Yaduvanshi Mulki Ahir Samiti.
38th mass marriage conference, people arrived in large numbers
This was the 38th mass marriage conference of the organization, in which a large number of newly married couples, family members and dignitaries of the society participated. Before the program, the officials of the organizing committee warmly welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajasthan Government Education Minister Madan Dilawar were also present on this occasion. Both the leaders also addressed the marriage conference and described events like mass marriage as socially important.

“Marriage ceremony is one of the best traditions”
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in his address that marriage ceremony has special importance among the 16 sacraments of Sanatan Dharma. He said that marriage is not just a social event but a rite of passage that decides the direction of life. He said that Lord Shri Krishna through his life gave the message of walking on the path of bravery, effort and religion. Even in difficult circumstances he did not abandon religion. Society should also move forward on the same values. CM said that the encouragement of mass marriage conferences by the state governments is commendable, because it sends the message of simplicity and equality in the society.
“I also got my son married in a mass conference”
Giving an example from his personal life, the Chief Minister said that he himself got his son married in a mass marriage conference. He said that it is important to stop the tendency of ostentation and extravagance in marriages. Instead of getting married by taking a loan, the society should move towards solemnizing marriages with simplicity and dignity. He appealed to the people to see a sacred occasion like marriage as a social celebration and not a financial burden.
Invitation given for Ujjain Simhastha Mahakumbh
During the program, the Chief Minister also invited all the people present for the Simhastha Mahakumbh to be organized in Ujjain. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is preparing for the grand Simhastha event and all arrangements are being made to welcome devotees from across the country. Simhastha of Ujjain is not just a religious event, but a big symbol of Indian culture and spiritual heritage.
River linking project will open the way to prosperity
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also mentioned the Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal River Project. He said that this project will open a new chapter of development and cooperation between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. He said that this work is progressing under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and this will create new opportunities for water, agriculture and prosperity in both the states. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers and the states should move forward with the spirit of mutual cooperation.
Government will support in the development of ancient temple
The CM also announced full support from the state government for the development of the ancient temple located near Ramganj Mandi. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is working towards developing all the religious places associated with Lord Krishna as pilgrimage sites. Religious tourism and preservation of cultural heritage are among the priorities of the government.
Society becomes stronger with respect for daughters
At the end of his address, the Chief Minister said that the respect of daughters is not only the responsibility of the family but of the entire society. They connect two houses through the marriage ceremony, hence their respect and protection should be of utmost importance. This mass marriage conference of Kota emerged as not just a social event, but a message strengthening Indian culture, simplicity and family values.
