Ganga Expressway Inauguration 2026: Before the inauguration program of Ganga Expressway on April 29, CM Yogi Adityanath inspected the venue located at Mallavan Cut of Hardoi. Gave strict instructions regarding helipad, security, VIP route, traffic and public facilities.
Preparations for the proposed arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hardoi on April 29 and the inauguration program of Ganga Expressway have now reached the final stage. The Uttar Pradesh government is working with full seriousness on this much-awaited program. In this sequence, on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself reached Hardoi and conducted an on-site inspection of the venue of the program located at Mallawan Cut in Bilgram tehsil.
This visit of the Chief Minister was not just a formal inspection, but he examined every small and big aspect in detail, be it helipad, meeting place, VIP route, parking arrangements, security cover or basic facilities for the common people. CM Yogi told the officials in clear words that the Prime Minister’s program should be completely safe, orderly and dignified.
Administration alert regarding inauguration of Ganga Expressway
The administrative machinery is fully active regarding the proposed Ganga Expressway inauguration program on April 29. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said during the inspection that this event is not just a government program but a symbol of the development and strengthening of infrastructure of the state. He directed the officials that negligence will not be accepted at any level and all arrangements should be completed within the time limit.

Intensive inspection of helipad, meeting place and VIP route was done.
The Chief Minister first took stock of the preparations at the helipad. He instructed to ensure strict adherence to all protocols related to VIP movement. After this, while inspecting the venue of the meeting, he carefully observed the seating arrangement, quality of the pandal, barricading, entry and exit routes. Officials were directed to ensure adequate and organized space for people attending the event. There was also special focus on parking arrangements, so that there is no chaos during the program.
Security system top priority: CM Yogi
The Chief Minister clearly said that it is the Prime Minister’s program, hence there should be no scope for any lapse in security. He directed to establish better coordination between police and administration and implement multi-layer security system. Deployment of adequate police force, barricading, surveillance arrangements and special vigilance at sensitive points were asked. CM Yogi said that the security arrangements should be such that the common people do not face unnecessary inconvenience.
Emphasis on drinking water, toilets and electricity for the convenience of the common people
While inspecting the venue of the meeting, the Chief Minister made it clear that the common people coming to the program should not face any kind of problem. He directed to ensure drinking water, clean toilets, sanitation system and uninterrupted power supply as per the standards. The quality of the pandal and seating facilities were also asked to be given priority. The Chief Minister said that a successful program is one in which the common people feel comfortable and respectful.
Instructions to decide alternative route for traffic management
During the review of traffic management, the Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure that the traffic system of the city remains completely smooth during the program. For this, instructions were given to determine alternative routes, install clear sign boards and deploy adequate traffic police. He said that local citizens should not face jams or unnecessary troubles.
Emergency services should be ready at all times.
The Chief Minister also laid special emphasis on the availability of ambulance, fire fighting and medical services. He directed that emergency services should remain active at all times to deal with any emergent situation. Medical team, fire brigade and rescue arrangements were asked to be fully prepared in advance.
Instructions for planting ‘Hari Shankari’ saplings to increase greenery
During the inspection, the Chief Minister also gave instructions to plant saplings of ‘Hari Shankari’ variety to promote green environment in and around the venue of the programme. He said that the thinking of environmental protection should also be associated with big events. Greenery not only enhances beauty but also gives positive messages.
Instructions to officials to complete timely preparations
The Chief Minister took detailed information about the preparations from all senior officials including Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police. The District Magistrate presented the complete outline of the program through a map and assured that all the preparations will be completed within the stipulated time. CM Yogi directed that the arrangements should be regularly reviewed and wherever deficiencies are seen, they should be rectified immediately.
Program considered important for Hardoi
The Chief Minister said that this program is very important for Hardoi district. The inauguration of Ganga Expressway will give a new direction to the connectivity, trade and development of the state. He asked all the officers to work with full responsibility, coordination and dedication, so that the program becomes successful and is also remembered as an ideal administrative event.
