Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inspected the procurement centers of Shajapur and Khargone. He talked to the farmers, checked the wheat weighing system and instructed the officials to provide better facilities.
Bhopal/Shajapur/Khargone. A different style of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was seen on April 30. He visited the procurement centers of Shajapur and Khargone districts and took stock of the arrangements. During this, he also gave necessary directions to the officials.
Shajapur tour: Conversation with farmers on trolley
The Chief Minister reached Shyama Ware House located at Makodi in Shajapur district. Here he boarded a trolley and communicated directly with the farmers. He also personally observed the weighing of wheat and examined the arrangements. His unique style is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Khargone inspection: Procurement center suddenly arrived
Before going to Shajapur, the Chief Minister suddenly reached the procurement center at Katargaon in Khargone district in the morning. Here he inspected the procurement process and arrangements. Talked to the farmers, listened to their problems and gave instructions for solutions on the spot.
Emphasis on better facilities for farmers
The state government has provided facilities like shade, seating arrangements and drinking water to the farmers at the procurement centres. Now farmers can sell their produce at any procurement center in the district. Also, to avoid any delay in weighing, the number of weighing hooks has been increased to 6.
Strict instructions regarding arrangements
The Chief Minister instructed the Collector and Mandi Secretary in Khargone to:
- 6 weighing forks should be compulsorily installed at all procurement centers
- New criteria for wheat purchase should be implemented immediately
- There should be adequate arrangements for shade and cool drinking water for the farmers.
Focus on improving the procurement process
The Chief Minister said that every farmer should get fair price along with respect and facilities. He instructed that:
- Sufficient gunny bags should be available for weighing on time.
- There should be arrangement for sewing machine, computer, internet and operator.
- Work continues on all weighing scales
Instructions to increase facilities at centers
The Chief Minister inspected the facilities like tents, seating arrangements and drinking water at the procurement centres. He instructed the officials that these arrangements should be further improved for the convenience of the farmers.
