In Lakhanpur, Surguja, Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Aggarwal gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings and appealed to the students to plant one sapling every year.

Raipur. Tourism and Culture Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Rajesh Aggarwal today visited GRA located in Lakhanpur of Surguja district. Participated in the tree plantation program organized at School, Junadih. During this, he gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings in the school premises. Students, teachers and public representatives also participated enthusiastically in the program and everyone took a pledge to build a green, clean and safe future.

Addressing the program, Minister Shri Rajesh Aggarwal said that protecting nature is not only the responsibility of the government, but it is also the moral responsibility of every citizen. He said that a sapling planted today can become an invaluable legacy of clean air, greenery and a better life for the coming generations. He appealed to the people to plant more and more trees as well as take regular care of them.

Planting trees became a mass movement to combat climate change

Shri Aggarwal said that trees are not limited only to maintaining the balance of the environment, but are also the basis of human life. In view of the present challenges like increasing pollution, climate change and conservation of natural resources, it is necessary to make tree plantation a mass movement.
