In Lakhanpur, Surguja, Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Aggarwal gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings and appealed to the students to plant one sapling every year.
Raipur. Tourism and Culture Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Rajesh Aggarwal today visited GRA located in Lakhanpur of Surguja district. Participated in the tree plantation program organized at School, Junadih. During this, he gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings in the school premises. Students, teachers and public representatives also participated enthusiastically in the program and everyone took a pledge to build a green, clean and safe future.
Environmental protection is the responsibility of every citizen: Rajesh Aggarwal
Addressing the program, Minister Shri Rajesh Aggarwal said that protecting nature is not only the responsibility of the government, but it is also the moral responsibility of every citizen. He said that a sapling planted today can become an invaluable legacy of clean air, greenery and a better life for the coming generations. He appealed to the people to plant more and more trees as well as take regular care of them.
Planting trees became a mass movement to combat climate change
Shri Aggarwal said that trees are not limited only to maintaining the balance of the environment, but are also the basis of human life. In view of the present challenges like increasing pollution, climate change and conservation of natural resources, it is necessary to make tree plantation a mass movement. He said that as important as planting a tree is, it is more important to take regular care of it, so that it becomes a strong tree in the future and proves useful to both society and nature.
Message of nature conservation to students, appeal to plant one tree every year
While interacting with the students, Minister Shri Rajesh Aggarwal said that the young generation is the biggest force for environmental protection. If every student takes a pledge to plant at least one sapling every year and take care of it, then in the coming times a big change will be seen in the field of environmental protection. He inspired the students to be sensitive towards nature, aware of the environment and move forward in life with discipline, hard work and positive thinking.
Green environment will strengthen natural balance and biodiversity
In his address, Shri Aggarwal said that green environment is the identity of any healthy society. Tree plantation not only protects the environment but also promotes biodiversity, conserves water sources and strengthens the natural balance. He said that today’s mass plantation drive is an important step towards creating a clean, green and healthy environment for the coming generations.

At the end of the program, the Tourism and Culture Minister appreciated the efforts being made by the school family for environmental protection.
