Maruti Brezza’s new facelift is coming, booking of which starts at ₹ 11,000. It is expected to have a new design, updated cabin and the return of the 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Prices will be announced on July 23.
One of the most popular compact SUVs in the country, Maruti Suzuki Brezza is now all set to come in a new avatar. Along with releasing the first teaser of 2026 Brezza facelift, the company has also started booking it. If you want to buy the new Brezza, you can book it online or at Maruti Suzuki’s authorized Arena dealership. For this you will have to pay a token amount of Rs 11,000.
While releasing the teaser, Maruti Suzuki has also given a message, “This is the biggest bang of this season. The new Brezza is coming to surprise you.” Although the company has not shown the complete look of the vehicle, the silhouette of the updated Brezza is clearly visible in the teaser.
Brezza was launched in 2016 and since then it has been a hit model in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki said that in the last ten years, more than 14 lakh customers have made Brezza their own. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said that the trust and love of the customers will take the new Brezza to greater heights and this new model will provide an even greater driving experience.
New updates will be available in design
The overall design of the new Brezza will remain the same as the existing model, but many cosmetic changes will be made to give it a fresh look. It is expected to have changes like new front look, changed rear design, newly designed headlamps and new alloy wheels, which will make it more modern.
There will be changes in cabin and features also
A new color theme, updated infotainment system and better user interface can be found inside the vehicle. A fully digital instrument cluster and many new features can also be included in the new Brezza. The competition has become very tough in the sub-4 meter SUV segment, so it is expected that the company will also provide many updates in safety and comfort features.
Will turbo petrol engines make a comeback?
If reports are to be believed, the biggest change in the new Brezza could be in the engine. It can be given a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder Boosterjet turbo petrol engine. This engine can come with 5-speed manual and automatic transmission options. Tax exemption is available on petrol engines with capacity less than 1.2-litre, the benefit of which can also be seen in the price of the new Brezza.
CNG model will also be special
Some changes are also expected in the CNG variant of the new Brezza. To increase the boot space, underbody CNG tank system can be given in it. The CNG variant is likely to retain the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. More information about the new Brezza will be revealed with the announcement of prices on July 23.
