Why hasn’t Apple been able to break that record yet?
Compared to a decade ago, Apple’s phone lineup has changed a lot. Back then, the company released only one or two models at a time. But now, Apple launches multiple variants at once—Standard, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max. This divides customer demand among different devices. That’s why it has become difficult for a single iPhone model to achieve the extraordinary sales numbers of the iPhone 6. However, thanks to the premium prices of today’s iPhones, Apple earns massive revenue even with fewer units sold. While the iPhone 6 holds the unit sales record, the latest flagship iPhones are the real money-spinners.
