As PM Modi’s convoy moved forward, the people of Kashi made the atmosphere devotional with slogans of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Shri Ram”. The PM accepted the greetings of people on the way and stopped at many places and also talked to children and local citizens. During this time the atmosphere appeared completely festive.

When Narendra Modi came out of Kashi Vishwanath Dham after darshan and worship, he was presented with Damru and Trishul by the devotees and local representatives. Special worship of Baba Vishwanath: Worship with 16 methods
In the temple premises, the Prime Minister performed the formal Shodashopachar Puja, in which Lord Shiva is worshiped with 16 traditional methods. He anointed Baba Vishwanath and wished for peace, prosperity and development of the country. The temple administration and priests performed this special puja with complete classical rituals.
Speed of development: message of Ganga Expressway
During this visit, the Prime Minister also mentioned the program related to Ganga Expressway. Toll operation on this more than 593 kilometer long expressway is going to start from the night of April 29. This is being considered a big step for connectivity and economic development in the state.
