Here he participated in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected NDA government organized in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath as the Chief Minister. Along with this, new members of the cabinet also took the oath of office and secrecy.
