Army Recruiting Office Narangi organized a Motivational Program for 182 NCC Cadets from Guwahati and Imphal. In this, information was given about various career opportunities in the army, like Agniveer and NDA, and the youth were motivated to serve the country.

Orange Cantt (Assam) [भारत]July 9 (ANI): Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Narangi conducted a motivational outreach program on ‘Career Options in Indian Army’ for NCC cadets from Guwahati and Imphal here at Brahmaputra Hall, Narangi Cantonment.

According to the official statement issued by the Defense Public Relations Officer, a total of 182 NCC cadets participated in the event which was aimed at creating awareness about the diverse career opportunities available in the Indian Army and motivating the young candidates to serve the nation.

Army career opportunities

During the session, representatives of ARO Orange gave detailed information on various entry schemes, including Agniveer (Women Military Police), National Defense Academy (NDA), Officer Entries and NCC Special Entry. The cadets were also briefed about the eligibility criteria, selection procedures, career progression and various benefits of military career. Special emphasis was laid on the benefits of NCC training and opportunities for NCC cadets to join the Indian Army.

Answers to cadets’ questions

The PRO said that this interactive session enabled the participants to interact directly with the Army recruitment representatives, which helped in clearing doubts related to the recruitment process and provided valuable information about life in uniform. To further increase awareness, informational posters and pamphlets were distributed among the cadets.

The outreach program witnessed enthusiastic participation and was highly appreciated by the attendees, reflecting the Indian Army’s continued commitment to guide and inspire the youth towards a career of honour, discipline and selfless service. The program was organized by the Recruiting Medical Officer (RMO) and staff of Army Recruiting Office, Narangi. (ANI)
