Indian Army has released the notification for Agniveer Recruitment 2026 for more than 25,000 posts. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply online within the prescribed time limit.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the youth to join the army and serve the country.
Indian Army had released the official notification for Agniveer Recruitment on 12 February 2026. Under this recruitment drive, applications have been invited for various posts like Agniveer General Duty (GD), Technical, Clerk/Storekeeper Technical and Tradesman.

When can you apply?
Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal from 13 February 2026.
Who can apply?
Agniveer General Duty (GD): Candidates must have obtained at least 45 percent marks in class 10th with 33 percent marks in each subject.
Agniveer Technical: Candidates must have obtained 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 40 per cent marks in each subject in class 12th with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English), or must have completed 2 years ITI course along with class 10th.
Agniveer Clerk/SKT: Candidates must have obtained 60 percent marks in aggregate and 50 percent marks in each subject in class 12th from any stream with English and Mathematics/Accountancy being the required subjects.
Agniveer Tradesman: Candidates must have obtained at least 33 percent marks in each subject in 8th or 10th class.

What will be the application fee?
The application or processing fee for all categories of candidates is ₹250. It can be paid online through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card only through SBI portal. After payment, the fee is non-refundable.
Salary and Application Process
What will be the salary of the selected candidates?
Selected candidates will receive a special monthly salary of ₹30,000 in the first year, which will increase by ₹5,000 every year to reach ₹40,000 in the fourth year. 30 percent of this salary will be deposited in the Agniveer Fund, which will result in a salary of approximately ₹ 21,000 in the first year and approximately ₹ 28,000 in the fourth year.
