Apple is said to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro series and its first-ever foldable, the iPhone Ultra, later this year. Both devices are said to bring some big upgrades, as suggested by the early leaks.
In the latest update, the dummy unit images of the iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Ultra have surfaced online. These images are shared by the tech YouTuber Vadim Yuryev and it suggests that the device may stick with a largely familiar design language for its next flagship. As seen in the image, the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max may come with a familiar design as its predecessor, but will have subtle refinements, particularly around the camera module. The dummy unit suggested that the device may get a slightly larger rectangular camera bump, with lenses that appear bigger and marginally more raised.
The triple-camera setup is expected to remain, along with supporting elements like the LiDAR sensor, LED flash, and a secondary microphone. Button placement also seems unchanged, with volume controls and the Action Button on the left, and the power and camera control buttons on the right.
Speaking of the iPhone Ultra, it is expected to feature a passport style wide design that may unfold into a device like iPad Mini. It is expected to feature a 4.8mm thickness when unfolded and may feature liquid metal components and a reinforced metal plate to achieve a creaseless display. It may get a dual camera setup placed in a pill-shaped module.
When will Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Ultra be available
The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max, along with the iPhone Ultra, will reportedly launch in India and global markets in September. However, these details are not confirmed yet. Even the leaks suggest that the iPhone 18 launch may get postponed to early next year as a strategy to improve Pro models sales.
