Parry could not play in the 2020 final only due to injury.

Talking about the current tournament, Perry had scored 185 runs at an average of 46 in 6 innings before the final. These are the highest runs for Australia in this tournament. Apart from this, he also bowled in 3 matches and during this he contributed to the team’s victory by taking 4 wickets. The interesting thing is that before the current World Cup, he had not scored a single half-century in the last 9 T20 World Cups, but this time he crossed the 50 mark in 2 consecutive innings, in which the memorable inning of 56 runs against India was the most special.
