Big news is coming out from Bettiah district of West Champaran. The old bridge built on Dhanoti river in Majhauliya block has suddenly collapsed. Due to the collapse of the bridge, the connectivity of dozens of panchayats has been affected and thousands of people are facing huge problems in transportation. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of concern among the villagers, while the team of Administration and Rural Affairs Department is busy taking stock of the situation. It is being told that this bridge built on Dhanoti river was very old and dilapidated. Due to continuous use and lack of timely repairs, the condition of the bridge became weak. Meanwhile, a large part of the bridge collapsed and fell into the river.
