Another news has come out which will put pressure on the common man’s pocket. After Amul-Mother Dairy, Sudha, Jaipur Dairy has also increased the price of milk. Jaipur District Milk Producers Cooperative Union Limited, commonly known as Jaipur Dairy. It has increased the prices of Saras milk by Rs 2 per liter from Thursday. According to the revised rate list released by the dairy, the price of Saras Toned Milk (Blue) will now be Rs 56 per liter, which was earlier Rs 54. Whereas the price of standard milk has been increased from Rs 60 to Rs 62 per liter. Saras Gold milk will now be available at Rs 70 per liter, which was earlier Rs 68.
Dairy has also increased the prices of curd, buttermilk, lassi and paneer. The price of a 200 gram packet of paneer has been increased by Rs 6 to Rs 80, while the price of a 1 kg packet will now be Rs 385 instead of Rs 362. Similarly, the price of 200 gram curd packet has been increased from Rs 16 to Rs 18, while the price of 400 gram packet will now be Rs 36 instead of Rs 32. The price of plain buttermilk has increased by Re 1 per packet, while the prices of lassi and salty buttermilk have increased by Rs 2 each.
Mother Dairy and Amul have increased prices
Earlier, the country’s big dairy product selling companies Mother Dairy and Amul had also increased the price of milk. Due to increase in cost, these companies had increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter. The company announced an increase of Rs 2 per liter on different types of milk. The new prices have also come into effect from 14 May 2026. Earlier, another leading brand Amul had also increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter across the country.
Sudha Dairy has increased the prices
After Amul and Mother Dairy, Bihar’s leading milk brand Sudha Dairy has also increased the price of milk. Sudha Dairy has directly increased the prices of milk by Rs 2 per liter. The increased prices will come into effect from May 25, 2026. This is the leading brand in Bihar. This entire business is run through co-operative with the help of Bihar government.
