CJP put forward three demands, including Pradhan’s resignation
Nadda on Monday met CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka and chief spokesperson Saurav Das at his residence amid thousands of protesters trying to march towards Parliament demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case. Das had said he met Union Health Minister JP Nadda and raised three demands, including resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and compensation of Rs 1 crore for the families of NEET aspirants, “of whom more than 20 have lost their lives”. He said activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is in hospital, should be “immediately released”. Das said the protests would continue until Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. Ashutosh Ranka made a separate post about this saying, “Demands including immediate resignation/dismissal of Dharmendra Pradhan have been stated.” He further said, “The minister has assured us that he will discuss it at the appropriate level. However, no commitment has been made yet. The peaceful protesters will not rest until the demands are met!”

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere,” he said. He further said, “There were detailed preliminary verbal discussions with their delegation and they handed over a written petition to me around 4 pm. I have requested all the protesters to end their protest and assist the administration in restoring normalcy.”
