PCB vs Blessing Muzarbani: The 11th season of Pakistan Super League is going to start from 26th March. But before this, Pakistan cricket has suffered a big blow. Zimbabwe’s fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has decided to leave Pakistan Super League and play in IPL. The Pakistan Cricket Board has been upset by this decision of Blessing Muzarabani and is preparing to take big action, due to which this fast bowler may have to face a ban.
PCB will take action on Muzarabani
Actually, Muzarabani was included in their squad by PSL team Islamabad United in place of Shamar Joseph. In such a situation, he was going to play for three-time champion Islamabad United in PSL 2026. But the situation changed after the brilliant performance in the T20 World Cup 2026. Muzarabani took 13 wickets in 6 matches in the World Cup, which included bowling 4 wickets against Australia. Due to which Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) included him in IPL.
KKR had released Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh in January and included Muzarabani in his place in the team. Muzarabani has left the PSL contract and chosen the path of IPL, due to which the PCB is very angry. According to Pakistani media reports, PCB will take strict legal action against Muzarabani. Let us tell you, this is the second consecutive year when such a case has come to light. Last season, Corbin Bosch left PSL and joined Mumbai Indians, after which PSL banned him for one season. According to reports, Muzarabani will also be banned from playing in PSL for 1 year.
Blessing Muzarabani’s powerful career
Blessing Muzarabani is one of Zimbabwe’s most successful players. He has played 89 T20 International matches so far. During this period he has taken 106 wickets. Apart from this, he is going to be a part of IPL for the second consecutive season. Last season, he was a part of the champion team RCB. However, he did not get a chance to debut.
