Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [भारत]July 15 (ANI): Ayodhya Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), a non-profit charitable organization registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and an associate organization of Namo Cancer Care Foundation (NCCF), on Wednesday announced the completion of documentation work for setting up the proposed 150-bed comprehensive cancer hospital in Ayodhya.
The gift deed formalizing the donation of six acres of land for the hospital will be signed on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima on July 29, 2026. The hospital is being developed as part of the NaMo Cancer Access Network, a nationwide initiative of the NCCF that aims to strengthen cancer care infrastructure and expand access to affordable, high-quality treatment.
The royal family donated 6 acres of land
In an extraordinary act of generosity and public service, Yatindra Mohan Pratap Mishra, son of late Raja Bimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, along with his uncle and Shailendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, younger brother of late Raja Bimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, have donated six acres of land for the establishment of a hospital in Ayodhya. This land is being gifted without any cost and without any encumbrance to the Ayodhya Cancer Care Foundation in the memory of Late Raja Bimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, who will oversee the end-to-end execution of this project and maintain and operate the facility.
The signing of the gift deed will take place in the spirit of Guru Purnima, a day dedicated to reverence, gratitude and the tradition of selfless giving. Nearby 8 districts will also get benefits
The proposed hospital is envisioned as a state-of-the-art comprehensive oncology facility that will provide accessible, affordable and high-quality cancer treatment to the people of Ayodhya. Apart from Ayodhya, the hospital is also expected to benefit people from nearby districts like Gonda, Bahraich, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Balrampur, Basti, Shravasti and Pratapgarh.
Subject to statutory approvals and completion of construction, the hospital is expected to be fully operational and operational in approximately 24 months.
