Digital Audit System: Now online financial audit of Panchayats will be done from home or office.

Timely audit of three-tier panchayats is mandatory for grants received from the Central Finance Commission. Keeping this need in mind, the Directorate of Panchayati Raj, under the guidance of the Accountant General of India, has prepared the “Drishti” online platform with the technical support of National Informatics Center (NIC).

Through this platform, auditors will be able to view and examine the documents and financial records related to the income and expenditure of any Panchayat of the state online from their home or office. With this, the entire audit process will be conducted through digital medium and the work will be expedited.

Audit of more than 23 thousand gram panchayats will be fast and transparent

23,011 gram panchayats of the state will benefit from the new system. With the implementation of online audit system, financial investigation will become easier and transparent than before. Despite the availability of limited staff, the audit of all Panchayats can be completed within the stipulated time. This digital system will save time and resources. Besides, financial accountability will be strengthened and good governance in Panchayats will also be promoted.

Panchayat Darpan Payment Gateway: Now Panchayat bills will be deposited sitting at home

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also launched the payment gateway facility on the Panchayat Darpan portal. This facility has been developed by the Directorate of Panchayati Raj in collaboration with NIC, Jal Nigam and Union Bank of India. Under this system, Panchayats will be able to generate bills of various services for the citizens online. Citizens will be able to pay these bills while sitting at their home and will also be able to get the payment receipt online immediately.

Digital Panchayat Services: Transparency will increase, time and labor will be saved

With the new digital payment system, people will not have to visit Panchayat offices. This will save both time and labour. As soon as the payment is made, the digital record of the Panchayat will be automatically prepared, which will make the maintenance of records easier. The government believes that these digital innovations will make the functioning of Panchayats more accountable, bring transparency in services and ensure timely disposal of all works.
