New Zealand’s blistering batsman Martin Guptill announced retirement from all the formats of cricket on 8 January 2025 this year. He has played 47 Tests, 198 ODIs and 122 T20 matches in his 13 -year cricket career.
Tamim Iqbal
Bangladesh player Tamim Iqbal also announced his retirement from all the formats of cricket in January this year. Earlier, he retired in 2023, but withdrew his retirement at the behest of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

Australian batsman Marcus Stoinis announced his retirement from ODI International on 6 February 2025. He has scored 1495 runs in 71 matches in his ODI career.
Mushfiqur Rahim
Bangladeshi player Mushfiqur Rahim announced to retire ODIs on March 5 after the Champions Trophy 2025. He has scored 7795 runs in 274 matches in his ODI career.
Rohit Sharma

West Indies star batsman Nicholas Puran announced his retirement from all formats of cricket on 9 June 2025. He scored 1983 in 61 ODIs in his cricket career and 2275 runs in 106 T20.
