Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred social security pension amount of Rs 203.56 crore to the accounts of 33.92 lakh beneficiaries and informed about new decisions in the interest of farmers.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the Social Security Pension Distribution Program organized in the Ministry on Wednesday, June 25 through virtual medium. During this, he transferred the pension amount of Rs 203 crore 56 lakh for the month of May to the bank accounts of more than 33 lakh 92 thousand 695 elderly, disabled people and other eligible beneficiaries of the state through a single click.

The Chief Minister said that the company and blessings of the elders in the family are like a cool shade in the midst of the scorching heat of life. In Indian culture, respecting the elders, helpless and weaker sections of the society is not only a responsibility but also our moral and social religion. He said that the state government is continuously working for the respect and security of every citizen of the state.

Government committed to respect the poor, elderly and disabled

Dr. Yadav said that it is the government’s effort that no poor family, mother, sister or disabled person of the state should feel helpless. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous work is being done towards realizing the goal of Antyodaya in the country and the Madhya Pradesh government is also working with full commitment for the welfare of the poor, deprived and weaker sections.

The Chief Minister said that social security pension is not only a means of financial assistance, but it is also an assurance of respect, affection and security from the government towards the beneficiaries. The state government is considering all eligible citizens as part of its family and is effectively implementing schemes for their welfare.

Big decision in the interest of farmers, loan will be available at zero interest

The Chief Minister also made important announcements related to farmer welfare during the program. He said that under the Farmer Welfare Year, loans will be provided to the farmers of the state at zero percent interest rate. He said that now farmers will not have to wait for the deadline of March 31 to repay the loan. The farmer will get the facility to repay the loan within the next 12 months from the date he receives the loan. This will provide more convenience to farmers in financial management.

Emphasis on poverty alleviation under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every citizen of the country is feeling more secure. He said that in the last 10 years, more than 25 crore people of the country have been successful in coming out of the poverty line. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, free ration is being provided to more than 80 crore people every month. Apart from this, public welfare schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission and Ujjwala Yojana have written a new chapter of development and social security in the country.

Madhya Pradesh is leading in the implementation of welfare schemes

The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states of the country in effective implementation of various public welfare schemes. The state government is working by giving top priority to the welfare of poor, youth, women and farmers. Senior citizens, mothers, sisters, disabled people and other beneficiaries from different districts of the state participated in the Social Security Pension Distribution Program through virtual medium and became a part of the program.
