In Himachal Pradesh, a monkey took a dog puppy to a tree. He took care of the puppy and after some time left it down safely. The video of this unique incident has gone viral.
A video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which a monkey is taking a puppy to a tree and taking care of it. This case is being reported from Rewalsar area of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. According to local reports, the monkey picked up a stray puppy roaming on the roadside and climbed a tree about 20 feet high. As soon as people saw this strange sight, they were shocked. Many people gathered under the tree, because they were afraid that the monkey might drop the puppy from a height.
But contrary to people’s concerns, the monkey was taking care of the puppy as if it were his own child. People present there told that the monkey kept the puppy close to its chest for about 10 to 15 minutes. After staying on the tree for some time, the monkey came down and left the puppy safely on the ground. The puppy was not injured.

This video is now being shared widely on the internet. Many people are calling it heart touching and an example of the unique love between animals for each other. Some local people believe that perhaps the monkey might have awakened love for that small animal. However, after this incident, people of the area are also discussing whether monkeys can lift small children in the same way. Due to the video, there is some anxiety and restlessness in the area.
But, environmentalist Narendra Saini has advised people to remain calm. He said that the Rewalsar incident should not be considered a cause for concern, as such incidents are not uncommon. He says that monkeys can often show affection towards the children of other animals, so there is no need to be alarmed by this viral video.
