The makers of “Ramayana” have unveiled a new poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman and Yash as Ravana. They have also announced that advance bookings for the first part of the two-part epic will open on Dussehra.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, “Ramayana Part 1” is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026. The new poster offers a glimpse of the film’s elaborate costumes and grand visual world, with Yash’s Ravana towering over the characters of Rama, Sita and Lakshman.
The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey in key roles. The makers marked the announcement with the message, “Yeh Ram Ke Yug Ka Aarambh Hai.”
Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, “Ramayana” is planned as a two-part cinematic epic. The second part is scheduled for release during Diwali 2027.
The film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, including IMAX and other premium formats. Sony Pictures will handle international distribution outside India, while Dharma Productions will distribute the film in the Hindi-speaking market.
