Ravi Teja is riding high on the success of “Irumudi”, which emerged as the biggest hit of his career and one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema. Continuing this momentum, the actor has teamed up with director Vivek Athreya for a new film titled “Thulabharam”, which was launched today.
Vivek Athreya is known for films such as “Brochevarevarura” and “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram”. The film is produced by Laxman and Srini Rao under the Bridge Productions banner.
Along with the launch ceremony, the makers unveiled a video announcing the title. It features Ravi Teja, Priyanka Mohan, JD Chakravarthy, Tharun Bhascker, Anaswara Rajan, Anil Karella and Ravi Anthony discussing what would be an appropriate title for the film. As each character reveals different aspects of the story, the group tries to arrive at a title that captures the film’s various elements. Priyanka Mohan eventually suggests “Thulabharam”, and the others agree.
The video also introduces the film’s cast and ends with Ravi Teja calling himself the ‘Crime Maharaja’.
The film is said to be a crime comedy. Vivek Athreya has once again teamed up with his regular collaborator Vivek Sagar for the music.
