One such beautiful example related to faith has been seen in the world famous Shaktipeeth Shri Jwalamukhi Temple, where a devotee family from Punjab, after fulfilling their vow, offered a silver crown weighing one kilo to Mata Rani as a gift.
According to the information, the devotee family had earlier placed a special wish at the feet of Maa Jwala. When his wish was fulfilled, the family resolved to reach Mata’s court and offer a special gift as a mark of gratitude. In this sequence, the family reached Jwalamukhi and dedicated the silver crown to Mata Rani with full rituals.
Special worship took place amidst chanting of Vedic mantras.
On reaching the temple, the devotees first had darshan of Maa Jwala and after that special prayers were performed by the priests of the temple with Vedic chanting. After the religious ritual, the silver crown was adorned on the sacred form of the Mother Goddess. During this, the temple premises echoed with a devotional atmosphere and the devotees prayed for the happiness, prosperity and auspicious life of the family.
Number of devotees increasing during summer holidays
According to the temple administration, these days due to summer holidays, the number of devotees in Jwalamukhi Temple is continuously increasing. A large number of devotees from different parts of the country are coming to have darshan of Maa Jwala.
Special arrangements for the convenience of devotees
In view of the increasing crowd, the temple administration has made extensive arrangements for the convenience of the devotees. Drinking water system, tents, queued darshan, sanitation system and other essential facilities have been strengthened. Besides, additional security personnel have also been deployed to strengthen the security arrangements, so that the devotees do not have to face any kind of problem.
