Ex-showroom prices for Maruti Suzuki Brezza ZXi CNG start at ₹11.50 lakh. Know 5-star safety, features, engine, possible mileage, 3 shortcomings and whether it is worth buying or not.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza ZXi CNG: Maruti Suzuki has created a stir in the market by keeping the starting ex-showroom price of its new Brezza at ₹ 7.40 lakh. Although the company has not yet put the official rate list of each variant on its website, the prices of all its models and CNG variants have been revealed through dealerships. At present, the most talked about car is Maruti Suzuki Brezza ZXi CNG, whose ex-showroom price has been kept at ₹ 11.50 lakh and for dual tone at ₹ 11.65 lakh. If you are also thinking of booking this variant after seeing the sunroof, mileage and 5-star safety, then before spending money, know its features and also its 3 biggest shortcomings.
What are the good things available in ZXi CNG?
Diggy’s hassle is over
The new Brezza has an underbody CNG tank like the Victoris. That means the cylinder will remain under the vehicle and you will get full space to keep the luggage in your boot space.
5-star safety
It has received a 5-star rating in Bharat NCAP crash test. Also, safety features like 6 airbags, 360-degree camera and level-1 ADAS (ADAS) have been provided.
All the features you need
In the ZXi variant, you get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, sunroof, ambient lighting, automatic climate control and wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

Maruti Brezza 2026: Leaked rate list of CNG variants
| Variant | Engine and Gearbox | ex-showroom price |
|---|---|---|
| Brezza LXi CNG | 1.5L Petrol + CNG (Manual) | ₹9.30 lakh |
| Brezza VXi CNG | 1.5L Petrol + CNG (Manual) | ₹10.00 lakh |
| Brezza ZXi CNG | 1.5L Petrol + CNG (Manual) | ₹11.50 lakh |
| Brezza ZXi CNG (Dual Tone) | 1.5L Petrol + CNG (Manual) | ₹11.65 lakh |
Note: CNG option is not available in the top model ZXi+.
3 major shortcomings of ZXi CNG
Absence of automatic and less power in CNG
If you want to avoid the hassle of changing gears in traffic, then this variant is not for you. The Brezza CNG comes only with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Apart from this, when the car runs on CNG, its 1.5-litre engine produces only 88 PS of power and 121.5 Nm of torque. In comparison to regular petrol (103 PS) and turbo petrol (110 PS), you will feel the pickup a little slower in CNG.
CNG not available in the top model (ZXi+)
Maruti has given the option of CNG only in LXi, VXi and ZXi variants. This means that if you want to buy ZXi+, the top model of Brezza, then you will not get the option of CNG. As a result, you will be left with ventilated seats and some very premium features.
Is this a good deal at ₹11.50 lakh?
The ex-showroom price of ZXi CNG is ₹11.50 lakh. If you go for just the ZXi petrol (manual), it costs ₹10.50 lakh. That means you are directly paying ₹ 1 lakh extra for CNG. If your daily driving is less than 40-50 kms, it will take you several years to recover this extra cost of ₹1 lakh through mileage.
