Kainchi Dham Foundation Day: Like every year, this year too the consecration day or foundation day of Kainchi Dham will be celebrated on 15th June. In Kainchi Dham Ashram, the consecration of Hanuman ji and other idols was done on June 15 in different years. This is the reason why the foundation day of Kainchi Dham is celebrated every year on 15th June. The date of Kainchi Dham foundation day was decided by Neem Karoli Baba himself. Neem Karoli Baba took Mahasamadhi on 10 September 1973. His ashes were installed in Kainchi Dham.
Baba’s devotees started the construction work of Baba’s temple in 1974. This year, Bada Mangal is falling on 16th June along with the foundation day of Kainchi Dham on 15th June. This will be the 7th big Mars. Worship of Hanuman ji on Bad Mangal is considered very beneficial. Devotees considered Neem Karoli Baba to be the incarnation of Hanuman ji. He had dedicated his entire life to the service of others. Even in Kainchi Dham, on every Tuesday, a huge crowd of devotees gather to have the darshan of Bajrangbali. How to reach Kainchi Dham Ashram?
The journey to Kainchi Dham can be done by road, railway and air route. It may take 06-07 hours to reach here by road. Kainchi Dham is near Nainital. Bus, car or other vehicles can be used to reach here by road. If you come here by railway route, the nearest station is Kathgodam. Then from here one can easily reach Kainchi Dham via taxi. To come here by plane, one will have to land at Pantnagar airport. Then one can reach Kainchi Dham via cab from the airport.

Baba Neem Karoli did not believe in any formal worship or rituals. He considered love, service and selflessness to be the greatest religion.
