Delhi Police has exposed a gang selling fake products of Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme. Two people were arrested in raids in Delhi. A large quantity of counterfeit accessories and packaging items have been seized.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has exposed a gang which was selling counterfeit goods in the name of these big companies. Police have arrested two people in this case. Raids were conducted in Karol Bagh and Moti Nagar areas of Delhi, from where a huge quantity of counterfeit products and packaging items were found.
Police said that two warehouses and a factory were running at these places. Thousands of items like fake branding stickers, packing boxes, earbuds, earphones, chargers and adapters have been recovered from here. Apart from this, the police have also seized 8 printing machines, which were used to print logos and labels of Oppo and OnePlus.
Investigation revealed that the accused used to import mobile accessories from China in large quantities without any brand. Then they were packed in fake branded boxes and sold in the market. Police say that these people were cheating customers by pretending to be genuine branded products. Those arrested have been identified as Bharat Ram and Gautam Kumar. At the same time, a person named Amit Mishra, who supplied fake packaging items, is absconding.
Representatives of Oppo, OnePlus and Realme companies were also present during the raid. He has also confirmed that the seized goods are fake. After this incident, the police have warned customers to be more cautious. Officials have said that while buying smartphones or accessories available at very low prices, one must check the authenticity of the product. Experts also say that it is always safe to buy goods from official stores or trusted dealers only.
