Often, even when everything seems to be running smoothly, one suddenly encounters problems such as obstacles in work, family members falling ill frequently, or experiencing inexplicable irritability.
According to Vastu Shastra, this phenomenon is attributed to ‘negative energy’ or the ‘evil eye’ . To overcome these issues, certain simple and scientifically grounded remedies prove highly beneficial.
1. The Effective Use of Salt (Salt Remedies):
Salt is considered one of the most effective substances for absorbing negative energy.
While Mopping: Every day, while mopping the floors, add a small amount of ‘rock salt’ (sea salt) to the water. This helps neutralize negative vibrations within the home.
Glass Bowl: Place a small amount of salt in a glass bowl and keep it in the corners of the house or in the bathroom. Replace this salt with fresh salt every 15 days.
2. Implement ‘These’ Changes at the Main Entrance:
The ‘evil eye’ or negative influences typically enter the home first through the main door; therefore, it is essential to ensure adequate protection at this entry point.
Lemon and Chilies: On Saturdays, hang a string containing seven green chilies and one lemon at the main entrance of your home. This prevents external negativity from entering the house.
Image of Hanuman: Placing an image of ‘Panchmukhi’ (Five-Faced) Hanuman on the inner side of the entrance door serves as a protective shield for the home.
Mirror: Install a small mirror on the outer side of the house’s entrance in such a way that it reflects the image of any person approaching the door. This causes the negative gaze to be deflected back.
3. Remedies for Businesses and Shops
If your business appears to be afflicted by the ‘evil eye’ or negative energy, consider implementing the following measures:
Alum (Turti): Tie a lump of alum in a piece of black cloth and hang it at the entrance of your shop or office.
Peacock Feather: Keeping a peacock feather at your workplace or inside the cash box helps enhance positive energy and fosters financial prosperity.
Burning Camphor: Every evening, burn a piece of ‘Bhimseni Camphor’ in the shop and allow the smoke to waft through every corner of the premises.
