Toyota has given its popular compact SUV, the Yaris Cross, a fresh update. This model has already been a strong seller in Europe, and now it gets a cleaner design, better features, and improved comfort.
The update focuses on making the car more stylish while keeping it practical and efficient.
The Yaris Cross has been on sale since 2021 and quickly became Toyota’s best-selling car in Europe. In 2025 alone, it sold around 200,000 units. That shows how popular this compact SUV is among buyers looking for a balance of size, efficiency, and usability.
New Design
The biggest change in the new Yaris Cross is at the front. Toyota has redesigned the grille with a bold honeycomb pattern that gives the SUV a more modern look. The new LED headlamps are sharper and come with integrated daytime running lights.
The SUV still keeps its strong stance with black lower body cladding and wide wheel arches. Higher variants now get larger alloy wheels, up to 18 inches, which improve both looks and road presence. Toyota has also added new colour options like Precious Bronze and Celestite Grey, giving buyers more choice.

For buyers who want a sportier look, Toyota is offering a GR SPORT version. This variant gets a more aggressive front bumper, unique alloy wheels, and special interior styling. It also comes with tuned suspension for better handling. Inside, you get sporty seats with red stitching and GR branding, giving it a performance-inspired feel.
Hybrid Power With Better Efficiency
The Yaris Cross continues to focus on hybrid technology. The main option is the Hybrid 130 system, which produces 130 hp and 185 Nm torque. This setup offers smooth performance and good fuel efficiency. The SUV can do 0-100 km/h in about 10.7 seconds, while fuel consumption is around 4.4-5.1 litres per 100 km. There is also a Hybrid 115 option available in lower variants. Buyers can choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, depending on their needs.
Built
The Yaris Cross is designed for city use but can also handle longer drives. It offers flexible seating with a 40:20:40 split, allowing more luggage space when needed. Toyota has also improved noise insulation, making the cabin quieter than before. The platform ensures stable handling and a comfortable ride.

Safety remains a strong focus. The SUV comes with Toyota Safety Sense features, including driver assistance systems for easier and safer driving.
