5 New Honda Cars Coming To India – Here’s The Full List

Honda is looking to freshen up its entire range with a plethora of new models. Here are some of the upcoming Honda models to look out for.

Upcoming Honda SUVs – Elevate Facelift

Expected launch – Early 2027

Elevate test mules have been spotted testing on Indian roads, suggesting that a facelift is under development. With the facelift, the design language would receive minor tweaks to match the new City. Under the engine bay, the same 1.5-litre NA petrol is set to be carried over with the facelift. Like with the outgoing model, it could be offered with a retrofitted CNG kit.

Moreover, the feature list could also include amenities such as a 360-degree camera, Level-2 ADAS, and ventilated front seats. But these additional features could drive up the price of the Elevate by almost Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000. Despite this price hike, the pricing would remain fair, as it currently ranges from Rs 13.38 lakh to Rs 19.95 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Honda ZRV

Expected Launch – July 2026

Honda will be bringing the ZRV to the Indian market via the CBU route. This means it will be priced quite aggressively, in the Rs 45-50 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) bracket. Since Honda has already revealed the ZRV, we have a clear idea of what it offers.

The cabin features amenities such as a 360-degree camera, a 10.2-inch infotainment screen, a 9-inch digital driver’s display, and a panoramic sunroof. It also gets level-2 ADAS in the safety front. The ZRV aligns with Honda’s hybrid prioritisation as it is offered with a 2.0-litre petrol engine mated to a self-charging technology.

Expected Launch – Mid 2028

The Japanese automaker has revealed it is developing a mid-sized SUV. We expect it to sit alongside the Elevate in Honda’s lineup and take the Hyundai Creta head-on. Some have even reported that it could be the successor of the Elevate and sport a new nameplate.

And if Honda wishes to remain competitive in the mid-size SUV segment, it would need to offer best-in-class features such as ventilated seats, level-2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, and much more. With the rise in HEVs in the market, this SUV could be sold with a hybrid powertrain as standard. We expect this SUV to be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Honda 0 Alpha EV

Expected Launch – Mid-2027

The 0 Alpha EV will be Honda’s first-ever electric SUV. The 0 Alpha’s testing phase has commenced, with a couple of test mules already being spotted. Details about the powertrain remain a mystery for now, but we can expect Honda to offer a large battery pack capable of delivering 500+ km on a single charge. It is also expected to get features such as Level-2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and much more.

The Honda 0 Alpha could be priced between Rs 20-30 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), which would put it in competition with the Creta electric, BE6, and Harrier.ev.

Upcoming Honda SUVs – Compact SUV

Expected Launch – Mid-2028

Along with the announcement of a new mid-sized SUV, it also revealed that it is working on a compact SUV to rival the Nexon. Currently, Honda only offers a 1.2-litre NA engine for its sub-4m SUV. However, Honda can bring in a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Southeast Asian markets if it feels that the 1.2-litre NA won’t be sufficient.

Inside, you can expect features such as an electric sunroof, an ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and more. After all, the feature list is a key driver of the Nexon’s success, so Honda would need to copy this move to succeed. Rumours suggest that this compact SUV could be priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
