A Mumbai actor showed the reality of a ‘luxury’ building with high rent. When 5 lifts broke down due to rain, he had to climb 30 floors of stairs. There was no water when we reached home, which has sparked a debate on the problems of Mumbai.
An actor from Mumbai has shared a video showing the common problems of the city which many people have to face during heavy rains. In the clip, he is seen climbing several floors of his building as the lift had stopped working. This actor named Mohit Hiranandani claims that even in a building which is sold as luxury, one has to face everyday problems like lift breaking down in rain. He also told that this is happening when he pays huge rent every month.
In the video, he is seen using the stairs as according to reports, all five lifts in his building were damaged due to heavy rains. He told that after a tiring day, he had to climb about 30 floors to reach home. The text of the video also pointed out the difference between expensive fares and poor facilities. “Paying around Rs 1 lakh a month as rent to live in a ‘luxury’ building, and as soon as it rains, all 5 lifts fail. So now you’re climbing 30 floors like it’s a trek.”
When he somehow reached his flat, his troubles were not over. He told that when he reached home there was no water available. In the caption he wrote: “And then when you reach home. No water. Wow Mumbai life!”
