Recently, a report by Morgan Stanley has come out, in which the earnings of delivery partners of Quick Commerce and food delivery platforms have been told. According to this report, delivery partners of platforms like Zomato and Swiggy earn Rs 18,595, while delivery partners of platforms like Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart earn Rs 21,402.
More orders, means more earnings
This makes it clear that delivery partners of instant service platforms like Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart earn more money than those of platforms like Zomato and Swiggy. Delivery partners of fast delivery platforms like Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart deliver around 533 orders in a month. Whereas the delivery partners of food delivery platforms are able to deliver only 411 orders. Income also increases due to more orders.
Time and distance also factor
According to Zomato, there are an average of 1.27 lakh monthly active delivery partners on its quick commerce platform Blinkit till the last quarter. Delivery partners of a company like Blinkit complete the delivery in 10-15 minutes, whereas delivery partners of a platform like Zomato take an average of 30-40 minutes.
Therefore, delivery partners with Blinkit are able to deliver more. Their range per order is 2 to 3 kilometers. Whereas for food delivery services like Zomato, the radius per order is 5 to 7 kilometers. Due to short distance, oil cost is also saved.
