Raashi Khanna played the main female lead in the popular web series “Farzi”, directed by Raj and DK. The duo is now set to begin work on the second season, with Shahid Kapoor returning as the lead.
However, Raashi Khanna will not be reprising her role in the new season.
Yukti Thareja has been roped in as the main female protagonist in “Farzi” Season 2. She will reportedly be the only prominent female character in the upcoming season, with no other major actresses, including Raashi Khanna, part of the cast.
Yukti Thareja has acted in a couple of Telugu films and was recently seen in “KJQ”, which was released in August this year. Although the film did not fare well at the box office, Yukti’s bold role attracted attention.
“Farzi” Season 2 will once again be directed by Raj and DK, with Shahid Kapoor returning to headline the series.
