Anuj Sachdev’s father passes away at 75
Television actor Anuj Sachdev took to his Instagram Stories on August 2 to share the heartbreaking news of his father, Shri Prem Chand Sachdeva’s demise. The actor posted a funeral notice featuring his father’s photograph along with the message inviting family members, friends and well-wishers to attend the Antim Sanskar and offer their final prayers.
The notice states that Shri Prem Chand Sachdeva passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 75. It also carries a Hindi message that reads, “Na mushkilon se dare, na mehnat se thake – bas chalte rahe, aakhri saans tak!” (He neither feared difficulties nor grew tired of hard work, he kept moving until his last breath.)
Last rites to be held in Delhi
According to the funeral notice shared by Anuj, the Antim Sanskar will be held on August 2 at 3 PM at the Punjabi Bagh Cremation Grounds, Block F, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi.
The notice further mentions that Shri Prem Chand Sachdeva is survived by his wife Shama Sachdeva, daughter and son-in-law Tina and Saurabh, son Anuj Sachdev, and grandchildren Saina and Sair. Since the actor shared the announcement, fans and well-wishers have been extending their heartfelt condolences and prayers to the grieving family.

Born and raised in New Delhi, he initially worked with his father in the family’s shoe manufacturing business and is also a qualified shoe designer. On his father’s encouragement, he ventured into modelling and acting, later honing his craft by studying method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
