Had to sell car and jewelery for treatment
Recalling her days of struggle, the actress said that a lot of money was spent on cancer treatment. The situation became such that he had to sell even his car and jewellery. He said that he had no other option at that time. He also spent his savings to meet hospital expenses, medicines, household ration and daily needs. He also told that even today he has no hesitation in traveling by auto-rickshaw. Be it shooting or going to the hospital, she uses public transport whenever necessary.

Shagufta Ali also responded to those who often ask her where all her savings have gone. He said that people think that artists always have a lot of money, whereas the reality is completely different.
