YS Jagan said the protesters unanimously demanded the immediate resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh and held him morally responsible for the alleged irregularities in the mega DSC recruitment. He also demanded a comprehensive CBI probe into every aspect of the recruitment process, from the alleged question paper leak to sports quota appointments.

Jagan lashed out at the failure of the government

He said that it is the failure of Chandrababu Naidu government, which has forced the talented and hardworking youth, who should have made their career on the basis of merit, to take to the streets in protest. He said that thousands of unemployed youth prepared day and night for years to get a teacher’s job, but the government’s attitude towards mega DSC recruitment has shattered their aspirations through alleged paper leaks and irregular appointments.

He said that despite evidence and documents coming into the public domain, neither Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu nor Nara Lokesh have responded to the allegations, instead choosing to divert public attention instead of answering legitimate questions.
