When you dust with a dry cloth, the dust starts flying in the air instead of sticking to the cloth. If you use a lightly damp microfiber cloth, the dust will stick to it properly. But, be careful not to use too much water when cleaning wooden furniture.
Also, don’t forget to clean under your furniture! Dust can collect for months under heavy items like sofas, beds, and chairs. Make it a point to clean these spots at least once a month. You can use a dust mop or a vacuum cleaner for hard-to-reach places.
