DDA has said that the specialty of this scheme is that people from middle class to high income class can buy a flat of their choice. In such a situation, if you are planning to buy a luxury flat in Delhi, then you can participate in the online e-auction from January 5.
New scheme for new year
Most of these flats are Super HIG, HIG and MIG flats. All these flats are not for economically weak category. Most of these flats are in Dwarka 19B, Dwarka Sector-14, Lok Nayak Puram. DDA has kept the price of these flats from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2.5 crore. If we talk about the earnest money of these flats, then the earnest money amount has been fixed from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
Buy flats through e-auction
DDA has said that the earnest money will be returned within 30 days to the unsuccessful bidders of the e-auction which is going to start from January 5. At the same time, the earnest money deposited by the successful applicants will be included in the total price of the flats. Also, successful applicants will be allowed to deposit the amount without interest within 60 days of issue of demand letter and with 10 percent interest within 90 days.
It is noteworthy that from the year 2023, DDA has changed the method of selling its flats. DDA has started the sale on first come, first serve basis. Under this strategy, DDA has sold approximately 40 thousand flats so far. DDA wants to maintain the same strategy in the new year 2024 also. Under this, this scheme has been brought. DDA is going to bring many more schemes in the year 2024, which will also include thousands of 1BHK, 2BHK and 3BHK flats.
