A case of openly taking bribe of a government official has come to light in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident of taking bribe was captured in the mobile camera. This officer is none other than the Assistant Engineer of Aligarh Development Authority (ADA), who is taking bribe in the name of passing the map. The video of the officer taking bribe is going viral on social media. It is clearly seen in the video that the bribed officer is openly taking money with his hands.
In the video, an Aligarh Development Authority official can be seen sitting in a car and taking bribe. An audio of a phone conversation regarding demanding bribe is also going viral. In this he directly demands money. As soon as the video and audio went viral, there is anger among the people in the city against the government officials.
No action has been taken yet against the corrupt officer
On one hand, Yogi government is working on the policy of zero tolerance to eradicate corruption. At the same time, such officers can be clearly seen sabotaging the policies of the government. However, even after the video and audio went viral, the Aligarh Development Authority did not pay any attention. The video of taking bribe is continuously going viral on social media. Instead of taking action, the officials are sitting on their hands.
Local people raised questions
After the video of bribery of the officer surfaced, people have raised question marks on the work done in Aligarh Development Authority. Local people say that when officials take bribe to get the house plan approved, a huge amount would be taken in ADA for other works.
