About 25 lakh coconuts are offered in this temple every year. Special arrangements have also been made to ensure that these coconuts are not used again. They are dug and buried in the field. For nearly 200 years, devotees have been tying coconut in red clothes to fulfill their wishes on Khejdi tree in the temple complex. 5 to 7 thousand coconuts are offered here daily. Their number increases four to five times during the fair days.
When the statue of Hanumanji was installed in the Salasar Balaji temple. In the history of Salasar Balaji temple, Lord Hanuman appeared here in a miraculous way. Then his solution hit a pointed rocky object. When he dug up, there was a stone here. He cleaned the stone with his thumb and saw that the image of Lord Balaji remains on the stone. At the same time, Jat’s wife brought food, she also cleaned the idol with her sari and both the couple bowed to the stone themselves. The farmer then offered the first part of Bajra’s Churme to Balaji. From the history of Salasar Balaji Temple, only Bajra Churma is served in Salasar Balaji Temple.
The news of the appearance of the idol reached Thakur of the village including the entire village. One night, Balaji asked Asota’s Thakur to take the idol to Salasar in a dream. On the other hand, the devotee of Hanuman told Maharaj Mohandas of Salasar in a dream that no one can stop the bullock cart from which the idol goes to Salasar. Where the bullock cart stops automatically, their idol should be installed. After these orders received in the dream, the statue of Lord Salasar Balaji was installed at the present place.
