That means, a fixed income of Rs 12,000 to Rs 60,000 is assured annually.

How much pension will you get?
The pension amount depends on how much you contribute every month and at what age you join the scheme. For example, if a person joins the scheme at the age of 25, he will have to deposit approximately Rs 376 every month till the age of 60, which will enable him to get a monthly pension of Rs 5,000.
A major feature of this scheme is that even after the death of the subscriber, his spouse continues to receive pension. After the death of both, the deposited amount is given to the nominee.
