From Dumdum to Rajarhat Gopalpur and Dhanekhali, the enthusiasm of the crowd was clearly visible everywhere. The roads were seen colored in saffron and everywhere only one voice was heard – “Yogi-Yogi”. During road shows and public meetings held in North 24 Parganas and Hooghly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sought votes in support of BJP candidates and launched a scathing attack on Trinamool Congress (TMC). He said that now the time has come to free Bengal from terrorism, mafia raj and corruption.

Crowd gathered during road show in Dumdum

People were seen standing on roads, rooftops and even windows to get a glimpse of “Bulldozer Baba”. Supporters holding BJP flags in their hands echoed the entire area with slogans like “Vande Mataram”, “Jai Shri Ram”, “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Bulldozer Baba Zindabad”. “Now is the time to liberate Bengal from TMC”

The Chief Minister said that the voters of Bengal have decided that now TMC has to be removed from power. He alleged that Trinamool Congress has made Bengal synonymous with terror, mafia raj and corruption. He said that it is now necessary to get rid of the government which has created an identity crisis for the youth, plundered the rights of citizens and stopped development. Yogi Adityanath said, “The first phase of voting has given a clear signal – the game is over, the upgradation has started.”

Meeting in Rajarhat Gopalpur, ‘Yogi-Yogi’ echoed in the pandal

The Chief Minister also fiercely targeted the TMC government in the public meeting organized in support of BJP candidate Tarun Jyoti Tiwari in Rajarhat Gopalpur assembly constituency. He said that not Kaaba-Medina, but Maa Kali and Maa Durga reside in the hearts and eyes of Bengal. Now the time has come for TMC to realize this. The Chief Minister said that Bengal is a land of sacrifice, literature, art and science, but today the same Bengal is struggling for its identity. Bengal, once the growth engine of the country’s economy, is today struggling with unemployment, closure of industries and chaos.

“Cultural capital turned into crime capital”

Yogi Adityanath said that Bengal, which was once called the cultural capital of India, was turned into a crime capital by TMC and leftist politics. He alleged that chanting “Jai Shri Ram” causes trouble, obstacles are created in Durga Puja and Visarjan Yatra, but Iftar programs are encouraged. Referring to Tarakeshwar temple, he said that if there was a double engine government here, grand development works like Kashi Vishwanath Corridor would have been seen.

Direct attack on TMC in Dhanekhali also

In the meeting organized in Dhanekhali Assembly constituency of Hooghly, the Chief Minister said that first Congress, then Left and for the last 15 years TMC have weakened Bengal economically and socially. He said that a conspiracy is going on to change the demography of Bengal and the public has now understood this change. The Chief Minister said that there is a need for cultural and economic renaissance again in the land of Swami Vivekananda, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

“After May 4, TMC goons will be seen making punctures”

In his aggressive style, the Chief Minister said that after the first phase of voting, TMC goons are looking for their hideout. He said that after May 4, they will be seen making punctures on the roads. He claimed that with the coming of the double engine government, there will be a new beginning of good governance, employment, security and development in Bengal. Also, there will be no restriction on saying “Jai Shri Ram” and “Har Har Mahadev”.

Also mentioned the UP model. Giving the example of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister said that before 2017, UP was also struggling with anarchy and hooliganism. Today daughters are safe there, businessmen are safe and the mafia has ended. He said that if any mafia raises its head, bulldozer action is certain. For this reason, now the name of “Bulldozer Baba” is becoming increasingly popular in Bengal also. This visit of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the last campaign day of West Bengal elections is being considered a big show of strength for the BJP. Now everyone’s eyes are on the voting and the results that follow.
