Yogi government opened treasury for Mahakumbh, gifts from Noida to Lucknow, know what your city got

A cabinet meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In this, 24 proposals were received and 23 were passed. The government has decided to organize road shows in the country and abroad for the Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj. The government has approved the expansion of Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Metro Line. The Aqua Line metro project will extend from Noida Sector-51 metro station to Knowledge Park-20 in Greater Noida. Development authorities have received approval for seed capital of more than Rs 4 thousand crore for the expansion of 9 cities of the state. Funds have been approved for the substation and transmission line of the 800 MW solar power plant under construction in Chitrakoot. Extra neutral alcohol will be exempted from GST. It has been decided to withdraw it and put it in VAT. Guarantee Redemption Fund will be created in UP.

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that in the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to add 80 villages in the limits of KDA (Kanpur Development Authority). Its objective is the development of Kanpur city. This decision has been taken under the Chief Minister Urban Expansion Scheme. Rs 3 thousand crores have been proposed for the development of other urban areas of the state. 9 Development Authority and Housing Development Council are being given 50 percent money to purchase land. Under this, a proposal has been passed to provide Rs 4164.16 crore as seed capital in 14 schemes to Saharanpur, Mathura-Vrindavan, Firozabad, Shikohabad, Lucknow, Moradabad, Khurja, Banda and Meerut Development Authority.

Guarantee Redemption Fund will be formed in UP

The Finance Minister said that the government provides loans from financial institutions to departments like infrastructure, cooperation and rural development. It has been decided to create a Guarantee Redemption Fund in the state on the guidelines of the Central Finance Commission, CAG and CAG. Its purpose is that if any department defaults, it can be paid from the fund. There is a provision for this fund in 19 states of the country. The state government has taken a guarantee of Rs 1,63,399.82 crore for this fund.

Extra neutral alcohol out of GST

A decision has been taken to amend GST in Uttar Pradesh. Extra neutral alcohol has been included in VAT from GST. This will increase the revenue of UP. Now we will get 100 percent revenue benefit from Extra Neutral Alcohol. There will be no change in the prices of liquor in the state. Bundelkhand has emerged as a huge potential for solar energy. At present work on 4 thousand MW solar energy projects is going on. An 800 MW project is under construction in Chitrakoot. The energy generated from this will be exported through the Green Energy Corridor of the Government of India. For this, two lines of 400/220 KV and 500 MVA will be built. Approval has been received for these. Its cost will be Rs 619.90 crore.
