Hyderabad (Telangana) [भारत]June 30 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday reviewed the development of the Yadagirigutta temple at the Bodhi Pavilion of the Dr MCR Institute of Human Resource Development (MCRHRD) and directed officials to adopt the Tirumala model for the construction of guest houses and make a comprehensive land allocation policy for the temple.

Rajya Sabha member Vem Narendra Reddy, MPs Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy, government whip Birla Ilaiah and MLA Kumbham Anil Kumar Reddy attended the review meeting. The meeting was attended by Government Special Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Endowments Department Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramayer, Endowments Commissioner M. Hanumantha Rao, Finance Department Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, CMO Secretary Manik Raj, CMO Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Vemula Srinivasulu as well as senior officials of Yadadri district and temple administrations.

CM gave these major instructions

During the review, the Chief Minister issued several directions aimed at strengthening the infrastructure, land management and tourism potential of the temple. CM Revanth Reddy said, “Hare Rama Hare Krishna Foundation should be allotted land as per the market rate in Yadagirigutta. A policy should be made regarding allotment of land to various monasteries. A policy should be made with clear guidelines for allotment of land to caste unions. The ownership of the land should strictly remain with the temple.”

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy further said, “The policy adopted by Tirumala regarding land allotment should be studied. A list of those who have come forward to build the guest house on the hill (gutta) should be prepared. Permission for construction of guest houses should be given in a phased manner. The Tirumala model should be adopted for the construction of guest houses.”

He also directed that funds should be sanctioned immediately for land acquisition. “The report submitted by the Committee of Engineers on the construction of the Yadagirigutta temple should be studied, and a follow-up report should be submitted within a week. A tourism circuit should be set up under a public-private partnership (PPP) model,” he said.

Sunil Bharti Mittal also met CM

Earlier today, leading industrialist and Chairman of Bharti Enterprises Sunil Bharti Mittal paid a courtesy call on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Bodhi Pavilion of MCRHRD. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao attended the meeting. (ANI)
