A new NXT North American Champion was crowned during the latest bygone Halloween Havoc WWE premium live event, last night that went down at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania in what turned out to be a gauntlet match.
Initially, a one-on-one bout was announced between former champion Kelani Jordan and one of the members of Fatal Influence-Jazmyn Nyx, Jacy Jayne, and Fallon Henley. However, Jordan proceeded to face all three of them in separate matches.
Jordan consecutively defeated Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne. As the third match progressed between Jordan and Henley, Nyx and Jayne interfered near the finish allowing Henley to deliver a 450-splash followed by the shining wizard for the pin-fall win.
After the Women’s North American title changed hands at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, members of Fatal Influence stood in the ring to celebrate. However, the lights went out as NXT’s newest member Zaria’s music played.
The Australian WWE Superstar came out and single-handedly laid out all three members of Fatal Influence, and stood tall to end the segment. Zaria was further announced to make her in-ring debut on this coming episode of NXT on Tuesday night.
In the main event of the WWE NXT Halloween Havoc PLE, Trick Williams (c) defeated Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground Match to retain the NXT Championship. Bubba Ray Dudley then surprised everyone with an appearance.
Throughout Halloween Havoc, Dudley analyzed the show with his Busted Open Radio co-host, Dave LaGreca. During those sessions, Holland had a face-off with Dudley, and the former was upset that Dudley chose Andre Chase over him in the ambulance match.
Later, Williams was celebrating his win as Ridge Holland attacked him from behind. Page also joined the assault when Bubba Ray Dudley came out and sent Page and Holland for a retreat amid huge cheers from the audience.
With WWE NXT heading to the 2300 Arena, also known as the ECW Arena, next Wednesday in Philadelphia, Dudley is likely to be booked for that show as he’s an ECW alumni cum hardcore legend.
